Reese Witherspoon’s “Penelope” Premiere

The paparazzi were out in full force last night at the Director’s Guild of America premiere of “Penelope,” the new film from Summit Entertainment. And the film’s stars Reese Witherspoon, Christina Ricci and James McAvoy hammed it up for the cameras.

Reese did her usual conservative thing as she walked the red carpet in a purple shirt, black jacket and black trousers. Her ponytail hairdo definitely brought a little youth into her otherwise grown-up apparel.

Meanwhile, co-star Christina Ricci supplied the sex appeal (as usual) in a black, gold, and silver spaghetti strap dress, showing off her feminine form.

And James McAvoy was all smiles in a pinstripe suit, as he posed next to his two lovely co-stars.

If you’re chomping at the bit to see “Penelope,” you won’t have to wait much longer. It opens in theaters nationwide on February 29th.
