Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe: Divorce is Final
Everyone in Hollywood was shocked when Reese Witherspoon filed for divorce from Ryan Phillippe back in November of 2006. And as of yesterday, the case has been finalized.
An official court document, dated June 12, 2008 reads, [The court finds] the parties have settled all their remaining issues in these proceedings.” And that’s that.
Neither of them waited for the divorce to be final in order to move on, though. The “Sweet Home Alabama” cutie has been dating Jake Gyllenhaal for quite some time, while the “Stop-Loss” stud recently stepped out with co-star Abbie Cornish.
It is believed that Reese and Ryan will continue a shared custody of their children, 8-year-old Ava and 4-year-old Deacon.
