Reese and Ryan Get Together For the Kids
While their divorce was kinda messy, at least Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe are able to put aside their differences for the sake of their children.
The former couple attended their 3-year-old son’s school talent show recently. Though there is bad blood and hurt feelings between the two actors, they made nice by both attending the event.
Neither of them approached or acknowledged the other, both preferring to keep their distance. However, just the fact that they both attended and didn’t end up in a public scene is evidence of their collective desire to keep it together for their kids.
As they exited the talent show, Reese escorted their daughter Ava, while Ryan hung back a bit, looking sloppy and disheveled. His trademark pouty face was in full bloom.
With Reese recently breaking up with Jake Gyllenhaal, she’s gotta be bumming as well. “They just recently broke up. It’s totally and completely over,” said a friend of Reese.
The day ended with Reese and Ryan leaving separately, in their own cars. At least, for a few hours, they put aside their differences and got together to support their kids.
