Pink and Carey Hart Call It Quits
One of Hollywood’s most likeable couples has finally decided to call it quits and start the divorce process. Alternative pop star Pink and her husband of two years, Carey Hart, finally made the decision public today.
Pink’s publicist, Michele Schweitzer, was quoted as saying “Pink and Carey Hart have separated. This decision was made by best friends with a huge amount of love and respect for one another. While the marriage is over, their friendship has never been stronger.”
Carey Hart is one of motorcross racing’s biggest stars, and a former cast member of The Surreal Life. Hart’s professional racing career is the reason for how the two met in 2001 at the X Games. They separated a couple of years after, but were back together in 2006 when Pink did it her way and asked Hart to marry her as he flew around the track at a race in Mommoth Lakes, California.
Gossip Girls reported back in August of 2007 that the marriage was on the rocks due to reported infidelity on Hart’s behalf. A spokesperson for the bmx-er told press that the claims made against Carey were “totally inaccurate.” Regardless of these accusations, the marriage looks to be officially done, and make sure to check back as Gossip Girls will have the latest updates on this story.
