Pete Wentz’s Legal Woes
In legal related news, a man who got into a scuffle with Pete Wentz last summer is suing the Fall Out Boy bassist and the fight’s venue for unspecified damages.
According to press reports, Andy Kallas alleges that he suffered “serious injuries to his head, mouth and face” after an unprovoked attack by Wentz at Schuba’s Tavern in Chicago.
Speaking to MTV about the matter, Wentz said: “This lawsuit is entirely without merit and will be vigorously defended. This is another in a long line of frivolous lawsuits that are filed against celebrities each year from individuals seeking a quick payoff when there is absolutely no justification for the claim.”
Claiming that he acted in self-defense, Pete explained: “We get heckled onstage all the time, and while I’m a jerk, I’m not the kind of person who would ever lash out at someone simply over this.”
