Pete Wentz is Looking Forward to Fatherhood
He may be the object every teenage emo girl’s affection, but Pete Wentz is ready to make the transition from rockstar heartthrob to proud papa.
In a recent interview, the Fall Out Boy bassist told press that, along with his new bride Ashlee Simpson, he can’t wait for his child to be born.
“I’m excited to be a dad. I’m a genuinely nervous person. The first time I ever went to the doctor’s office and heard the heartbeat, I felt totally content and at peace with everything. It feels good.”
As previously reported by the Gossip Girls just last week, Mr. Wentz finally confirmed the pregnancy on his website, saying it was, “the most joyous time in our lives and we are excited to share the happy news and start our family.”
