Sweetheart couple Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz were spotted by the paparazzi after finishing up lunch at Chin Chin on Sunset Blvd earlier today (January 16).

The musically-inclined pair are getting back to business after spending New Years in Miami, followed by a tropical getaway in Costa Rica filled with poolside bikini-laden fun.

The big news in Ashlee’s life since her return to LA focuses of her formerly blonde strands, which she recently switched up to a red-headed do.

Meanwhile, her Fall Out Boy bassist boyfriend is slated for co-hosting duties at a low-cost fundraiser in Chicago on Tuesday for the Presidential candidate Barack Obama.
