Penn Badgley: Brooklyn Boy
His hit show “Gossip Girl” is one of the hottest on the Fall schedule, and Penn Badgley couldn’t be happier to have been thrust into the realm of being a household name.
And yesterday (October 8), he was spotted on the Brooklyn, New York set, looking hunky in a plaid button-up shirt underneath a black blazer with jeans and brown leather shoes.
During a recent interview, Penn revealed some knowledge that he wished he’d been given back in his awkward years as a teen.
He told press, “I wish I had known that vulnerability is universal for everyone, regardless of how cool or not cool they are. You have such a heightened awareness of yourself, so even small things seem life-changing — a bad day turns into, ‘Oh my gosh, my life is over.’ If I were still a teen, I would want to hear: ‘It’s okay. Take a deep breath and move on.’”
Badgley also revealed that his celebrity crush is indie movie queen Parker Posey. Watch out Blake Lively!
