Penelope Cruz Goes Promoting, Avoids Engagement Talk

Continuing her promotional duties, Penelope Cruz was spotted at The Cinema Society & Calvin Klein screening of “Broken Embraces” last night (November 17) in New York City.

The “Vanilla Sky” actress was all smiles as she posed outside the Crosby Street Hotel, sporting a long shimmery white jacket overtop a matching dress.

Earlier in the evening, Penelope dropped by “The Late Show with David Letterman” where she artfully dodged questions about her rumored engagement to Javier Bardem.

Cruz explained, “I don’t feel comfortable talking about my private life in public. I’ve been here a few times with you, you know I’m tough. One thing I don’t do, I don’t lie about my personal life,” she said. “It’s sacred to me. It’s my life. But I don’t give details about it because I am allergic to that.”
