Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem: Geneva Lovers
Drawing an end to a lavish getaway, Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem were spotted leaving the Geneva airport on Sunday (January 4) after spending a snowy holiday in the French Alps.
The co-star lovers are preparing for a trip to the States, as they most likely have a little hardware to collect during the upcoming awards season.
Speaking of the awards season, the Spanish actors have both received Golden Globe nominations for their work in Woody Allen’s “Vicky Cristina Barcelona.”
With the ceremony being held a week from today on January 11, Bardem was “nominated for best performance by an actor in a motion picture (comedy or musical) while Cruz was nominated for best performance by an actress in a supporting role for her portrayal of his jealous ex-wife.”
The film also garnered a nod for best film (comedy or musical) and for best actress (comedy or musical) for English actress Rebecca Hall.
