Paris Hilton’s A Hard Workin’ Gal
Paris Hilton is one busy young lady. The heiress, who was spotted in Toronto airport yesterday after attending the MTV Video Music Awards in Las Vegas the previous evening, jets all over the country to promote herself and the plethora of products falling under her direction.
With this in mind, Paris’ mother, Kathy Hilton, can’t understand why some people keep saying that her daughter does nothing but party and enjoy the posh life bestowed upon to her through inheritance. Mother Hilton goes as far as saying that her Simple Life daughter works so hard that she has to remind her to take a break from time to time.
"Paris works so hard. I always say, Paris, you also have to stop now and again and smell the roses,” Kathy recently told German press.
Also on Mrs. Rick Hilton’s mind was the over-publicized court proceedings which ended up landing Paris in the slammer for 23 days.
Commenting on what she sees as a mishandled case, Kathy tells, “You simply don’t get behind the wheel when you have even had just a bit to drink. That is totally irresponsible. I agree with that. I do criticize how Paris’ case was handled though.”
Continuing on, the self-proclaimed nagger adds, “That was not about the law, the prosecutor even admitted that. His own wife drove twice without a license and even smashed up a car. Of 2000 cases that were like Paris’, no one was punished like she was.”
And to cap off the interview, Kathy stressed that Paris is not spoiled due to soft parenting, saying, “I am very strict. I call my daughter up and say, ‘That is enough now, stop, I don’t want to hear any more. You better stay home.”
