Paris Hilton Revisits Reality TV
She’s still mourning the loss of her series The Simple Life, but it looks like Paris Hilton will be reprising her role as reality queen. Sources say that the heiress will be appearing on Celebrity Big Brother in the UK.
She’s been offered 300,000 pounds, (US $595,591.16) to be on the Channel 4 program, making her the highest paid celebrity on the show thus far.
“We told Paris, ‘Name your price’. We’re in firm talks, and it would be a fantastic coup to get her,” said a rep for the network. “She would easily be the star of the show — but obviously she won’t do it unless the money is right.”
And Hilton sees this as an opportunity to set the record straight about her real personality, post-prison. “She wants people to see that she’s not a bimbo or a wild child,” said an insider.
