Paris Hilton Celebrates Barron’s Birthday
It wouldn’t be a Friday night in Los Angeles without a Paris Hilton sighting. And last night she was getting her swerve on at the Apple Lounge.
The “Simple Life” cutie arrived at the West Hollywood hot spot looking super hot in a champagne-sequined short-sleeved minidress with matching shoes and handbag.
Miss Hilton was also spotted at Les Deux nightclub, along with her sister Nicky, helping to celebrate her brother Barron’s birthday.
And though her new film “Repo! The Genetic Opera” has been a definite point of pride for the heiress, it seems most critics have a decidedly different take on it.
LA Times’ Mark Olsen lamented, “The film is bad - not good-bad, tacky-bad or fun-bad, just plain awful and nearly unwatchable. It seems the production has had to cut around the ubiquitous Paris Hilton, as she is never glimpsed in anything but brief, fleeting shots and her hoarse bark of a singing voice is used as little as possible.”
The San Jose Mercury had similar feelings, declaring “Repo!” to be, “as bad as it gets”, adding it’s “easily one of the worst movies of the year, if not all time.”
