Pamela Anderson: Ready For the White House

The devoted mother that she is, Pamela Anderson spent Saturday afternoon watching her son play baseball - cheering from beside the field and filling up on hamburgers during the game.

And while she has her hands full with her single-mother duties and a new reality show, the former Baywatch babe’s schedule just keeps getting busier by the minute - as she recently received an invitation to a dinner at the White House.

Joining fellow celebrities including Lauren Conrad, Hayden Panettiere, Ben Affleck and Marcia Cross, Pam will be heading to Washington D.C. later this month to attend the White House Press Correspondents Association Dinner.

Late Late Show comedian Craig Ferguson will host the evening in which US Vice President Dick Cheney is confirmed to appear, with President George W Bush also assumed to be attending. The annual meal began in 1920 and is a popular part of the President’s social calendar.
