Saturday, April 26, 2008 Pamela Anderson Fights For Animals
With her days of saving drowning people on “Baywatch” far behind her, Pamela Anderson has a new target for salvation - animals. The “Barb Wire” babe was spotted at a PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) protest in Washington DC yesterday. And she sure got the attention of the male passersby!
Recently, the former magician’s assistant was supposedly caught eating a hot dog at her sons’ baseball game near her home in Malibu. But she says the media shouldn’t have called ‘foul’ so quickly. Chuckling, she told press, “It’s like Hotdoggate! Clearly it’s a veggie dog. They’ve been serving veggie dogs and veggie burgers at my kids’ baseball games for years now. Lovely John, who runs the hotdog stand there from the Kiwanis Club, has been so wonderful to me and my kids.” Enjoy the pictures of Pamela at yesterday’s PETA protest (April 25).

COMMENTS I wonder if Pamela Anderson knows Peta kills most of the animals it takes in to its shelter in Virginia (over 17,000 in 2006). Posted by on 04/27 at 10:21 PM
Yes, I’m sure Pamela knows there’s an overpopulation problem that can’t be solved by warehousing animals. That’s also why most realistic and intelligent people support breeding bans and mandatory spay and neuter laws. This is great, what a lovely lady! Posted by Haley on 04/28 at 11:03 AM
I wonder if Pamela Anderson knows Peta kills most of the animals it takes in to its shelter in Virginia while, in contrast, the Virginia Beach SPCA, right down the road from PETA’s Norfolk headquarters, is able to adopt out the majority of the animals in its care. Posted by on 08/17 at 02:20 AM
