It may not be the usual celebrity hot spot for a relaxing getaway, but Owen Wilson and Woody Harrelson are showing the world that Peru is a viable vacation spot.
The two Hollywood studs headed down to Lima, Peru earlier this week, with the intention of helping out the “Casa de los Milagros.” Harrelson helps fund the orphanage, which is home to 34 children.
However, during their stay they found trouble with the local press, to the point that some of the reporters actually filed assault charges on them.
Mama Killa, the manager of the orphanage, told press, "Woody has come to Calca many times and helped with my kids, he comes every year and nothing happens. This is the first time Owen has come amidst so much rowdiness."
Thankfully, everything was worked out and Owen and Woody made friends with the locals that had filed the charges. “I like happy endings,” Harrelson joked. And Wilson told press, “This is one of the best trips I’ve been on.”
