O.J. Simpson Goes To Jail
He’s been battling the legal system for well over a decade, and just last night, O.J. Simpson was sent to jail for violating the terms of his bail.
Reportedly the former football stud attempted to contact his co-defendant in his Las Vegas armed robbery case. Simpson allegedly tried to send a message via his bail bondsman Miguel Pereira to Clarence Stewart regarding a plea deal in the case.
Apparently the prosecution was trying to offer Steward a deal in order to get him to testify against Simpson. And that spelled bad news for O.J. The former football great was quoted as saying, “I’m tired of this…Fed up with changing what they told me. All right?”
And that was enough for prosecutors to haul him in. Before the alleged incident, Simpson was awaiting an April 7th trial, out on $125,000 bail. He was spotted at the Miami Airport, escorted by authorities on his way back to Vegas.
