No Soul Mate For Hilary Duff
Maybe it’s because her ex, Joel Madden, is fathering a child with Simple Life star Nicole Richie, but Hilary Duff is being very vocal about her doubts regarding if she’ll ever find a soul mate.
The singer/actress told press that she wants the whole traditional family set up but she doubts that she’ll ever find just one man. “I don’t believe in having one partner for your whole life, but I hope I get married. I want to have a husband and two kids and a nice little life baking pies,” she said.
Since her split from Madden, Hilary has been in the market for some new man candy. But she hasn’t found a new candidate yet (although there are whispers that she may be interested in 24/7’s Frankie Delgado). And maybe that’s because of her criteria.
“The most important thing on my list (for boyfriend requirements) would be that he has to be in the business, so he understands how hard it can be, with the lifestyle,” Duff told press. She feels that only someone acquainted with the pressures of celebrity and constant scrutiny could be a boyfriend to her.
“He has to have other interests outside of work. He has to be adventurous and teach me new things, and have a strong faith, and make me laugh, and be cute. I’m kind of crazy, so I like boys who don’t take themselves too seriously.”
That’s quite a checklist, eh?
