Nicole Richie’s Mountain Blues
Apparently having nothing to do with hypoglycaemia, Nicole Richie has blamed The Simple Life’s new mountain location, among a few other rants, for her recent fainting episodes.
According to Fametastic, Nicole’s spokesperson had previously blamed hypoglycaemia (low blood sugar). More recently, Nicole has rebuked her rep’s statements, telling OK magazine: “The hours I’m doing are really crazy right now and we’re working up in the mountains.”
Nicole continued: “I was getting my hair and make-up done one morning and I turned the heat up to 90 degrees, which I know I probably shouldn’t have done… but I like it really hot in the room. I hadn’t eaten breakfast and I asked for a bowl of cereal, but it had to go through 15 people to even get to me. I walked outside and I wasn’t feeling myself.”
Nicole was hospitalized for a short time following this incident in early March, and is rumored to have had a number of “dizzy” moments since.
Also of note, Nicole is currently facing DUI charges of after she was stopped by police in December for driving the wrong way on a California Highway. She admitted to police she had smoked marijuana and taken the painkiller Vicodin.
The actress has also sought help for her “inability to gain weight.” But, it’s gotta be the altitude!
Meanwhile, Nicole’s rep has yet to comment on the contradictory stories being put forward by her client.

uhhhh, no. Don’t buy it. I am a Texan. Same height as Nicole. 78-82 pounds. Yes, I never eat anything but redbull and diet bars. I went to the E.R cuz I had seizures brought on by the combo of not having my valium and hypoglycemia(a.ka. not eating but 250 calories for four days.) When I got admitted I weighed 72 pounds. AAnyways, I went to boarding school in Durango, Colorado. I froze my a$$ off but never did it cause me health problems other than asthma.

Soon she will die, and nobody will have to concern their pretty heads with why Nichole Richie can’t gain weight. I know I can’t sleep at night wondering why not.

hii my name is bob
I think nicole is too skinny she needs too eat something and stop ending up in rehab and maybe start being a romadle for young children and maybe donate some of your mobey to a child fondation too help little chldren in need and maybe you will be noticed for something other then being in rehab or doing something bad.

I agree about Nicole`s weight problem, but really, who cares ? I don`t understand why everyone concerns themselves with it. If she doesn`t gain weight, WHO CARES !? It`s nobody`s business who decides to have eating disorders and live that way. It`s no affecting you, so why bother ?
And drop the crap about a role model for children. When I was a young girl, I certainly didn`t know who Nicole Richie was and considering she is only seen on TV geared towards an older crowd, she shouldn`t be a “role model” anyway. It`s not her responsibility to be a role model for anyone`s kids.
