Nicole Richie Was High On Drugs
Nicole Richie admitted during a recent interview that she had smoked marijuana and taken Vicodin prior to being arrested for a DUI last December. The confession was part of an exclusive interview Diane Sawyer had with Richie, in which Sawyer was able to get Richie to open up about the entire experience.
It appears that the past couple of month’s experiences have forced a change in Nicole’s personality. With the enormous stress of first time mothers, the recent cancellation of her reality TV show with Paris Hilton, and a little jail time; it comes as little surprise that the Simple Life star has opted for a little humility.
In her own words, “I have a responsibility and it’s something that I did wrong, and if I could personally apologize to every single person that has lost a loved one from drunk driving I would. And unfortunately I can’t, but this is my way of paying my dues and taking responsibility and being an adult.”
As Nicole continues to try and make amends for past transgressions, it will be interesting to see if she can stay on the straight and narrow. Be sure to tune in for Nicole’s two-part interview airing on Good Morning America and 20/20 on Thursday and Friday (August 2 and 4).
