Nicole Richie Shops, Cat Gets The Boot

While she undergoes the final months of her pregnancy, Nicole Richie has decided that her pet cat, which survived a fall from her 10th floor apartment balcony last year, just had to go.

Apparently, the smell of her furry friend makes the former Simple Life starlet and expectant mother sick to her stomach. As a result, Ms Richie’s famous tabby has ended up over at her singer father Lionel’s house.

"She loves her cat but says she can’t stand to be around it right now,” a source told press.

But the frisky feline should expect to be back home in four months, as the insider added, “She wants it back after she gives birth.”

And with no pet to tend to, Nicole spent Friday afternoon with a trip to her private gym on Nemo in West Hollywood, as well as a bit of shopping at the always popular Fred Segal.
