Nicole Richie: Shoe Designing Diva
She’s no stranger to diversifying her career, and now it seems Nicole Richie is ready to try yet another avenue of merchandising- shoe design.
According to a report, the “Simple Life” cutie has signed a development deal to launch her own line of footwear, adding to her successes in the headband and jewelry realms.
Nicole will partner with Modern Vintage shoes and Earnest Sewn jeans to come up with around 20 different shoe styles to be released under her House of Harlow 1960 label.
An inside source told press, “Nicole is designing everything herself. She’s totally devoted to this, and we’re creating a whole lifestyle around her aesthetic and what is true to her.”
But if you’re chomping at the bit for a pair of her new shoes, don’t hold your breath- they won’t be hitting stores until spring of 2010.
