Nicole Richie Buys A Fish, Denies Smoking Claims

Soon-to-be mother Nicole Richie kept herself busy on Tuesday afternoon with a trip to the local Petco. The former Simple Life star shopped around before purchasing herself a pet fish.

Nicole has been under fire recently for a NY Post story that claims she was spotted smoking cigarettes on multiple occasions, despite the fact that she’s pregnant.

Responding to the smoking claims, Nicole recently released a statement which reads, “It’s really very sad and hurtful that journalists don’t believe in checking facts before writing false and unsubstantiated stories about my health and my pregnancy.”

Nicole added, “The healthy birth of my child is my number one priority.”
