Nicole Richie and Joel Madden: NYC Lovers

Spending the day side-by-side, Nicole Richie and fiance Joel Madden were spotted out in SoHo, New York on Monday (February 22).

Looking ever-so-stylish, the recently engaged pair grabbed up a bite to eat for lunch, with paparazzi following them every step of the way.

Meanwhile, Joel was busy on his Twitter account - interestingly comparing Nicole to the crazy character in Leonardo DiCaprio's new movie "Shutter Island".

"I went and saw Shutter Island," Joel tweeted. "Oddly it reminded me of my relationship. I'm pretty sure Nicole pulled the same stuff on me. And here I am."

A short while later, the Good Charlotte rocker added, "yep pretty sure she brainwashed me."
