Nicole Richie and Joel Madden: No Marriage Yet
Despite the rumors floating around the gossip mill (thanks to another Star magazine mishap), Nicole Richie and Joel Madden have not tied the knot.
The Good Charlotte frontman set out to set the record straight after receiving all kinds of messages congratulating him on the supposed nuptials.
And Madden took to his blog to clear things up. He wrote, “I keep getting emails from old friends and family asking me about a wedding. NO we didn’t get married.”
During an interview with Larry King, Nicole Richie explained, “I think for both of us, we are going to do it because we want to, not because that’s what you do. We’re going to do it when the time’s right.”
Joel added, “We’re really focused on our family, and we feel like — we already feel kind of married, you know? Our family system that we have down, we feel like this is a real family and marriage, one day it will come.”
