Nicole Kidman’s Tokyo Premiere

She’s been living it up in Japan’s capital city of Tokyo this week, and today (Tokyo time) Nicole Kidman unveiled her film “The Golden Compass” to a very eager audience.

The “Moulin Rouge” actress looked elegant in a cream colored silky dress with a ruffled hemline and some peep-toe heels as she greeted the audience. The ensemble accentuated her growing baby bump.

And with a worldwide draw of over $300 million so far, “The Golden Compass” has already captivated the hearts of both young and old moviegoers. Nic recently told press that she was glad that “Compass” is kid-friendly, being that she has two teens that love to see her work.

“My Bella and Connor are 13 and 15. So they have seen the film and they loved it...my child inside won’t see the film for a long time. But I think once you have children you want to balance the work you do because they give up so much of you to your work. So occasionally you want to make films that they can take their friends to, they can go to the premiere of, that they celebrate.”
