Nick Lachey Gets Back to Reality TV
His girlfriend Vanessa Minnillo has reportedly been urging him to do it for a long time, and, now, Nick Lachey is giving reality TV another try.
Lachey, who rose to fame co-starring in Newlyweds with ex-wife Jessica Simpson, is re-teaming with MTV to produce an unscripted “reality show version of Fame,” according to UsMagazine reports.
The pilot, which is being called Celebrity Music Mentor Project (for now), will “track the lives of students at Lachey’s alma mater, the School for Creative and Performing Arts in Cincinnati, Ohio.”
According to Tony DiSanto, executive VP of series development and programming, the new reality series-in-the-making will be “similar to MTV’s Laguna Beach.”
