“Nicegirl” Jennifer Garner
If you’re looking for the secret to a successful Hollywood relationship, look no further than Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck. The Alias actress recently revealed the source of their success.
The Elektra actress divulged that she and her hubby are (gasp!) nice to each other, even when they are angry. She told press, “I don’t know what makes (the relationship) work. But it does. One thing that makes it not not work is that we’re both pretty nice.”
Garner gave her man plenty of credit for being even-keeled. “(Ben) is not someone who’s ever going to blow up on anyone. What I mean is, if he’s ever angry with me, he doesn’t act out on it in a weird way or yell at me. And I am the same. So we can handle conflict in a very loving and adult way.”
The Garner-Afflecks have a 22-month-old daughter named Violet. And Jennifer explains that her profession lends itself to being a mother. “My job is great to have as a mom. I get to take long breaks and then work hard in a really concentrated way. During that concentrated time, it sucks.”
