New “Sex and the City 2” Details Revealed
As we wait patiently for “Sex and the City 2,” new details about the film have emerged to whet our collective appetite.
For starters, we’ve learned that there are some fabulous guest appearances from the likes of Penelope Cruz, Miley Cyrus, and Liza Minnelli.
And style guru Patricia Field hinted that ladies all over will massively enjoy the sequel. She told press, “It’s ‘Star Wars’ for women all over the world.”
Remember those flamboyant 80s getups early in the shoot? Field says, “It was in the beginning of the movie. Carrie was waiting to meet her girlfriends and she was thinking about when she first moved to New York in the ‘80s and how she met Samantha and Charlotte. They’re all, in real time, meeting to go shopping. And in her flashback time, she is thinking of when she first met each one of them.”
As for the rumors that the SATC ladies are headed to Morocco, Field says it’s true. “[We’re shooting] there for about six weeks. You’ll probably see belly dancers and Bedouins!”
