New Britney Spears Single Gets Leaked
If I were Britney Spears’ advisor, I’d tell her to steer clear of the Internet until further notice. One of her unfinished tracks (we’re hoping it’s not done yet, because it sounds horrible) was leaked earlier this week, and Ryan Seacrest got ahold of it.
Of the song, a source told press, “This is obviously just a demo and not a finished or official release in any way. It is a shame someone would leak unfinished, unmastered and incomplete work.”
The song is all about how her “baby boy” isn’t giving her the attention she needs. Initially it sounds like a plea to the “Sometimes” singer’s ex husband, Kevin Federline.
Lyrically it’s pretty weak. Here’s a sample:
“Everyday, I’m in a daze/Looking for that someone
And everyday, I sit and kneel and pray/Oh, sweet love, can I get some?
So why do you desert me, baby boy? I need your love right now!
So why did you desert me, baby boy?/I thought that you, you were the one.
So if you preferred the other one/She won’t bring you the sun.”
Regardless of it’s lameness, at least there’s something going on with Brit that doesn’t involve her acting crazy and making out with a total stranger while completely ruining her chances to gain custody of her children by pouring sugar in the judge’s gas tank.
