Natalie Portman Doesn’t Get Nude
Some actresses love to strip for their roles in movies. But Natalie Portman isn’t one of them. She revealed that in her new movie Goya’s Ghosts, she refrained from bearing all for the camera.
Goya’s Ghosts is a film about painter Francisco Goya and his drama during the Spanish Inquisition. Portman plays the muse of Goya, but you won’t be seeing any of her “intimate areas” during the movie.
Natalie confessed that she elected to use a body double for some of the scenes. She told press, “There’s a long shot of a nude woman, but it’s not me. You do see some parts of me unclothed, but if they end up on websites making it look like I’m nude, I’m going to be really, really angry.”
Portman says she took the role because it suited her, rather than trying to break free of her good girl image. “I didn’t do the scene in order to prove something. I just want to get on with my life and do what feels right.”
For Natalie, what feels right may end up with her becoming a lesbian. “Why would you close yourself off from 50 per cent of people? I’ve never a dated a woman or anything like it. But I think it’s much more about the person you fall in love with.”
Stop drooling, guys.
