Tuesday, October 21, 2008 Natalie Portman Checks Out Picasso Exhibit
Taking a break from work duties, Natalie Portman made the most of her downtime by paying a visit to the Picasso exhibition at the Grand Palais museum in Paris on Monday (October 20). The “V for Vendetta” actress in currently staying in the City of Lights as she shoots a new perfume commercial, but she’s also been busy making a video for Will Ferrell’s Web site FunnyOrDie. Teaming up with Rashida Jones, the two offer up a novel way of solving the global economic crisis - poking fun at the international financial crisis by encouraging people to buy puppies. During the sketch, the pair tells: “The global financial crisis is affecting all of us. The panic on Wall Street has now reached mainstream. There doesn’t seem to be a clear answer. And the worst may be yet to come.” Portman adds, “After careful consideration, Rashida and I have determined the best course of action - puppies!” With both Natalie and Rashida rolling around a bed kissing and cuddling a pack of pet pooches, the two all of a sudden get serious, asking, “So how about it America? Puppies.” Enjoy the pictures of Natalie Portman at the Grand Palais museum (October 20).
