Natalie Portman: Birdwatching in Venice
Although she dressed down for her own premiere earlier in the day, Natalie Portman was red carpet gorgeous as she stepped out in Venice on Monday evening (September 1).
The 27-year-old Israeli born actress was all glammed up for the premiere of “Birdwatchers - La Terra Degli Uomini Rossi” held at Sala Grande.
The Marco Bechis film is receiving all kinds of buzz and rave reviews as a Golden Lion contender in this year’s running of the annual film festival.
Meanwhile, as previously reported by Gossip Girls, Natalie made her debut as a director in “Eve” as she opened the short films section of the Venice Film Festival earlier in the day.
“Eve” is a short film which concerns “a young woman named Kate, who visits her grandma Lola for dinner, and is surprised to find her grandma is on a date with a man named Joe.”
