Natalie Imbruglia Ushers In Boxing Day

As Christmas Day winds down in North America, Australian residents are already up and moving on what’s known as Boxing Day - the day-after shopping rush, full of hot deals and presents being returned/exchanged.

Adding to the already crazy atmosphere, singer/actress Natalie Imbruglia caused crowds to gather as she dropped by David Jones “to launch the sale and sound the bell for the opening round of shopping.”

Trying to keep some semblance of order, Natalie, who wore a short, colorful dress, said to the shoppers: “Go straight to shoes and bags, you don’t have time to try on clothes and no hair-pulling, pushing or shoving.”

Imbruglia also spoke to press about coming home to Australia for the Holiday season, telling:"Christmas was great actually. I only got in a few days ago and went straight to Newcastle to see family.”
