Naomi Watts Goes “International”
In movie news, there’s another “International” thriller in the works. Naomi Watts has agreed to star in a new Columbia Pictures action film.
“The International” also stars Clive Owen as an obsessive Interpol agent investigating a banking institution’s role in selling arms to terrorists.
Watts will play a Manhattan assistant district attorney who teams up with Owen’s character to bring down the arms ring. The plot is said to be full of action and suspense.
Naomi Watts also has a film with Viggo Mortensen coming out soon. David Cronenbert’s “Eastern Promises” is a film about one of London’s most notorious organized crime families.
And with a baby on the way, it looks like it will be one big year for Miss Watts.
