Naomi Campbell Arrested For Assault
Catwalk queen Naomi Campbell has been arrested for allegedly assaulting a police officer at London’s Heathrow Airport on Thursday afternoon (April 3).
The 37-year-old, who is all to well-known for her fiery temper, had to be escorted from a British Airways plane after being aggressive and abusive to staff.
According to breaking press reports, “Campbell spat at an officer and was handcuffed as she left the aircraft, which had yet to take off from the airport’s new Terminal 5 building. The incident was allegedly sparked by an issue with the star’s luggage.”
A Heathrow spokeswoman said of the incident, “We can confirm that a passenger was removed by police from a BA flight this afternoon.”
Meanwhile, a rep for the London Metropolitan Police would only confirm that a woman was arrested at Terminal 5 for an assault on police, but refused to disclose her identity or reveal her age.
