Naomi Campbell Airport Arrest Update
After being taken into custody on Thursday, Naomi Campbell was released on bail Friday following a run-in with a police officer at Heathrow Airport.
According to press reports, the 37-year-old catwalk queen left the airport police station just after midnight, as London’s Metropolitan Police looks into the matter further.
The London-born supermodel, who was told to report back to the police station in late May, was arrested on suspicion of assaulting an officer after police were called to a disturbance at the airport.
FOX news reports that “witnesses said Campbell was aboard a British Airways plane due to depart for Los Angeles when she became involved in a dispute because one of her bags had been lost. During the dispute, Campbell allegedly spit on the officer.”
