More Bad News For Amy Winehouse
Some people just don’t get it. I mean, come on! She’s been hospitalized several times for “exhaustion,” gotten in a fistfight with her husband over her own drug use, and then couldn’t hack it in rehab. But, Amy Winehouse still refuses to get help.
Last night, she spoke at the Nationwide Mercury Music Awards ceremony in the UK. And although she didn’t win the award she was nominated for, Amy managed to get plenty of attention with her comments to the press.
She said, “Normal people spend time thinking, ‘What am I going to do with my life?’ I spend my time drinking. I’m of the school of thought where, if you can’t sort something out for yourself, no one can help you. Rehab is great for some people but not others.”
And since she and husband Blake Fielder-Civil ditched their momentary grasp of reason and left an Essex rehab facility (for the 2nd time), it’s been looking gloomy for the award-winning singer. She’s kind of like a car crash… you hate to look, but everyone keeps slowing down to see what happened.
