Mischa Barton Finds a Home in France
Hamming it up at the Chopard and Alberta Ferretti Opening Gala at Crystal Beach on Wednesday night (May 14), Mischa Barton is enjoying all that’s offered at the Cannes Film Festival.
And the trip to the renowned cinema showcase got a lot shorter this year for the former O.C. star, as she recently set up house in Paris, France.
“I’m living in Paris right now so I thought I would come down (to Cannes) for a few days,” the British-born actress told People magazine.
When asked the reason behind the move, Mischa replied: “No reason. I’ve just always wanted to move there. I’m enjoying some time off.”
Talking about the atmosphere in southern France this time of year, the 22-year-old added: “It’s always good fun. It’s pretty manic. I’m hoping it calms down a bit.”
