Mischa Barton De-stresses at the Gym

Maintaining her active lifestyle while in the Big Apple, Mischa Barton was spotted hitting up Equinox gym for a workout earlier today (August 6).

The “O.C.” starlet looked sporty as she left the fitness center with a girlfriend and headed over to Sephora for some shopping before catching a cab and heading home.

As for the rumors that things are a bit rocky between Barton and the producers on her new gig “The Beautiful Life,” series creator Ashton Kutcher says nothing could be farther from the truth.

He explained, "Mischa was never unavailable for a day of work...Mischa's in New York working today. Her role is very prominent. She's one of our lead players.

Kutcher continued, “The great thing about Mischa for this show is we have a lot of young cast. She's done it before. On The O.C. she was one of the leads in this big soap opera.”
