Miley Cyrus Pretties Up For Her Birthday Weekend

Enjoying an evening out with a few gal pals, teen star Miley Cyrus was spotted venturing about Santa Monica, California on Tuesday (September 30).

The “Hannah Montana” singer/actress and her friends dropped by a local nail salon, proceeding to get pedicures and manicures in preparation for a big weekend that lies ahead.

As previously reported by Gossip Girls, Miss Cyrus will be celebrating her Sweet 16 birthday at the Disneyland Resort this weekend with 5,000 of her biggest fans.

Interestingly enough, her birthday party happens to be scheduled on Gay Days, an annual gay and lesbian gathering at the Magic Kingdom.

Denying reports that the Gay Days revelers are getting the boot to accommodate Miley, a Disneyland rep told press, “Many groups hold events at the Disneyland Resort and for two to occur at the same time is not uncommon. Gays Days, which takes place October 3-5, overlaps with Miley Cyrus’ Sweet 16 celebration only on Sunday night, October 5.”

Meanwhile the organization putting on Gay Days wrote on their Web site, “Yes, Miley Cyrus is having her birthday at Disneyland on Sunday, October 5 and Disneyland will be closing at 5 PM that day. That’s our scheduled day at Disney’s California Adventure so we don’t foresee any changes to Gay Days Anaheim. Although we would love her to come sing for us!”
