Miley Cyrus Gears Up for 2008 Teen Choice Awards
Many teens and tweens have been counting down the days until the 2008 Teen Choice Awards. And now that it’s finally here, Miley Cyrus is getting pumped up for all of the festivities.
The “Hannah Montana” hottie is the host of tonight’s big event, taking place at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, California.
And besides emceeing the evening, she’s also set to perform her new mega hit single “7 Things” at some point throughout the night.
The 15-year-old singer/actress was spotted getting geared up for her awards show responsibilities, as well as the prospect that she may take home a surfboard in any of the four categories (Choice TV Actress: Comedy, Choice TV: Comedy, Choice Music: Single, and Choice Music: Female Artist) in which she was nominated.
And she looked excited as she posed with the likes of LL Cool J and Adam G. Sevani in her purple t-shirt, white Capri shorts, and funky purple and black/yellow socks.
Among the acts with multiple nominations are the cast of “Gossip Girl,” Rihanna, Justin Timberlake, Kanye West, the Jonas Brothers, Hayden Panettiere, Lil Mama and “Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles.” The whole shindig will air on FOX tomorrow (August 4th) evening at 8pm EST.
