Miley Cyrus Defends Her “Scandalous Pics”
This girl is way too clean for scandal! Miley Cyrus got real about the so-called “scandalous pics” of her sleepover kiss - and she’s not going to take any flack for it.
The Hannah Montana actress told in a Z100 interview, “At first, I was really upset. It really sucks. It’s not something I’m going to let slide. I’m really upset about it, ’cause it was, like, not even a big deal. [She’s] a friend of mine that’s a normal girl. … That’s one of my best friends. I have all these girls who I hang out with all the time. This girl doesn’t even have to deal with that, and it’s so hard. [Now] she has to go to school and deal with this crap.”
Apparently the press’ attention to her “girl time” may have been a bit presumptuous, given the media’s penchant for scandal. Miley explained, “It’s two girls at a sleepover, and if all of a sudden that’s bad, then what is the world coming to? What I decided before I came out to L.A. and started working was the minute I didn’t have fun was the minute I go home. I don’t want to go home, and I don’t want to not do what I do, because I love it, but this … it’s Satan attacking.”
Miley and her mother Tish checked out of the Trump Hotel yesterday and left in a hurry, due to the throngs of crazed fans. She was in the Big Apple over the New Year’s holiday for an appearance on Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve 2008.

I agree. This entire “scandal” was just overhyped crap that sadly too many bloggers kept going because they can’t find anything real to write about

Honestly. Girls post that kind of crap on Myspace all the time - but suddenly Miley Cyrus does it and it’s treated like a topless photoshoot.

Parents better lock up their computers. Between myspace, stuff like this and the ‘Highschool Musical’ nude shots, 5 year old kids innocently typing in their favorite stars in google will most likely end up seeing themselves in a mirror; confused, spoiled wannabe tramps, with no concern for morals, taste or themselves.

Im as old as miley is and me and my friends take pictures like that ALL THE TIME! that is not a scandal at all. She was just having fun at a normal sleepover with her best friend like and other teenage girl. She handled this well and i think everyone is behind her on this.

I am 14 which i think is about how old Miley is, it was just a little sleepover. All girls our age these days do that. It was just fun.

Ok so these are supposed to bad? If thats the case then every teenage girl with a life must be horrible. These are normal everyday pictures...and honestly i’m getting tired of all the drama that gets started over nothing at all. Seriously find something thats not completely ridiculous to write about. Leave the kid alone she’s got enough to worry about without harassed by you. Put down your camera and try to do what she does on a daily basis.

oh my gosh! seriously i agree with lyn girls post all this on myspace even of the kissing on the cheek and crap like that and they are just mucking around and being stupid its what teenage girls do mainly and sleepover...take photos of them being idiots its fun and just because miley cyrus is famous its like ooooo she is suddenly a bad egg but look around people i mean vanessa hudgens took photos of herself NUDE and your going mental about this i mean they are both young childrens idol compare the two and your making a huge fuss about miley? HONESTLY!

Why do people make such fuss, about things like this, shes only muckin around with her friend, the media, are just making a innocent girls life a misery (excuse my spelling) how can you judje someone by a picture huh?

Okay so all these pictures that everyone is “finding” are not even that badd! not even the ones where shes hanging on that guy or the ones in her bathing suit! im gonna be perfectly honest with you… ive taken worse pictures than that and they ended up on an ex boy friends myspace page..no they werent naked or anything.. but yeah.. this whole this is getting blown out of proportion and its just because shes famous whoop dee flippin doo! Thats typical things to do at a sleep over, do wild crazy things and take pictures! you have to leave your friends with something to talk about..she tries to get away from her stressful life for a minute and this happens i really feel bad for her it isnt fair its not like every teenage girl in the country doesnt have some risque pictures with friends or just that were taken for the hell of it. its NO BIG DEAL!!!
