Miley Cyrus Celebrates “Sweet 16” at the AMAs

Basking in the glory of finally turning 16-years-old, Miley Cyrus was the center of attention at the Nokia Theatre where the 2008 American Music Awards were taking place on Sunday night (November 23).

After being introduced by her country-singing father, Billy Ray Cyrus, Miley took to the stage for a performance before making her way backstage to get her “Sweet 16” celebration underway.

Joining the “Hannah Montana” starlet were good friends Taylor Swift, Julianne Hough and Ashley Tisdale, as well as her mother Leticia Cyrus and sister Brandi, among other pals.

The gang all shared hugs and laughs as they watched Miss Cyrus blow out the candles on her multi-layered birthday cake and surely open some fabulous presents!
