Michael Phelps Stops By the Early Show
He’s currently the biggest name in sports, following his 8 gold medal wins at the 2008 Summer Olympics. And this morning Michael Phelps paid a visit to the CBS Early Show.
Sporting a casual blue half-zip warm-up shirt and a pair of jeans, Phelps charmed the crowd outside the General Motors Building in New York City, posing for pictures and signing autographs.
And this fall, it has been announced, Michael will handle the hosting duties on the 34th season premiere of Saturday Night Live, scheduled for September 13th.
Phelps has additional publicity appearances scheduled, including The Tonight Show with Jay Leno on September 8th before beginning his preparations for the 2009 World Swimming Championship.
