Tuesday, March 20, 2007 Michael Jackson’s Strange Requests
The always strange and surprising Michael Jackson is at it again. ‘It’ would be in reference to his screwball behavior. ‘The King of Pop’ got attention again this past week with ludicrous demands.
The idolized superstar has spent some of his most recent time at England’s luxurious Jumeirah Carlton Tower. According to the London Evening Standard, “Jackson arrived at the hotel with his famed children and a swarm of bodyguards.”
The exquisite living isn’t cheap, and Jackson, despite rumors of serious financial trouble, rented the entire floor and “posted two ‘scary’ bodyguards at the elevator door” to prevent any possible intrusion. According to a staff member interviewed by the Standard, “Jackson is fussier than the other celebrity guests and the secrecy makes our jobs very difficult.” A witness for a tabloid source said that the singer had other demands including “bowls full of Haribo sweets, a full-bodied mirror and a toy xylophone.” The witness even claimed that “the requests weren’t even for the kids.”
This is just one more story of crazed pop celebrity Michael Jackson being… well… Michael Jackson.
