Thursday, July 02, 2009 Michael Jackson: Riddled with Track Marks
As the investigation into the death of Michael Jackson continues to progress, new details about the late singer’s private life have been uncovered. And in the latest update, it seems the “Heal the World” hitmaker was dependent on the anesthetic drug Propofol, used in surgery to put patients under. Given the fact that his personal nurse told press earlier this week that Jackson used to beg her for Propofol to help with his insomnia, it seems more and more likely that the drug was the cause of his cardiac arrest and subsequent death. Now, investigators have revealed that Michael’s body was covered in track marks from some sort of injection, causing further speculation that Propofol was involved in Jackson’s demise. Additionally, the doctor who prescribed the drug could face manslaughter charges.
