Melanie Brown’s Parenting Blunder

In the world of Hollywood trends we hope don’t catch on, it appears that Melanie Brown is competing with Britney Spears for bad mother of the year.

According to her former housekeeper, Scary Spice left her 2-month-old daughter behind for her to care for when she got married in Las Vegas.  The maid told press, “One evening of baby-sitting turned into four days!”

And the news could hurt Brown in her child support battle with the baby’s father Eddie Murphy.  The disgruntled housekeeper told press, “The child was sick, there was no nanny, and when Mel called, she never even asked about the baby.”

But Mel’s lawyer claims that the accusations are erroneous.  “Melanie is a hands-on mother completely dedicated to the upbringing of her children and the well-being of her entire family. Any fictitious accusations to the contrary stem from greedy people looking to make a buck.”
