Matthew McConaughey’s Mom: Marry Camila!
He’s one of Hollywood’s most desirable hunks, and he’s going to be a daddy soon. Matthew McConaughey is already having an amazing 2008!
The “Failure to Launch” actor has been beaming with joy after recently announcing that he and his girlfriend, Brazilian model Camila Alves, are pregnant with their first child. He was all-smiles as he left his recently-purchased $10 million Malibu mansion yesterday.
Matthew, dressed in an orange fleece topped off with a beanie, dropped by his new property to check on the progress that had been made.
The 38-year-old actor has been dating his 24-year-old girlfriend for over a year now. And his mom is already asking “When’s the wedding?”
According to Kay McConaughey, a recent conversation went something like this. “He said, `Mom, are you ready?’ And I said, ‘What?’ And he said, ‘Camilla and I are going to have a baby.’ And I go, ‘Oh, that’s wonderful!’ Then I said, ‘So when are y’all getting married? This is a question that 76-year-old mothers ask, Matthew.’”
She continued, “Out in Hollywood they get their sequence all mixed up. But I have dropped the subject. He is going to be a wonderful dad. He likes to have fun. He won’t put up with whining. But it’s going to be a happy child.”
