Matthew McConaughey Welcomes Baby Boy
Yesterday (July 7th) was a big day for celebrity baby births. First Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban welcomed their new daughter Sunday Rose, and then last evening Matthew McConaughey and girlfriend Camila Alves said hello to a baby boy.
According to the “Fool’s Gold” actor’s rep Alan Nierob, the baby boy was born at 6:22 pm and weighed 7 pounds and 4 ounces. A close friend revealed, “They’re so happy!”
The whole McConaughey family has been looking forward to Matthew becoming a father, with oldest brother Rooster recently telling press, “Oh, it’s going to be fun! He’ll make a really good dad because he’s got a lot of patience. I’m excited for him. It’s about time.”
And Miss Alves, who has been dating the “How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days” stud for two years, will reportedly be taking plenty of time off now that their little one is here. “More important than anything is that I have a peaceful life and a peaceful home.”
